Welcome. This tour is intended to give you an introduction to the wines of Domaine David Clark.
The domaine was created in 2004 when David Clark left his job as a track-side engineer in Formula One racing to follow his dream of making great Burgundy.
He studied at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune before buying a small vineyard which fit his budget: a small plot of Pinor Noir vines in Burgundy’s most humble appellation: Bourgogne Grand Ordinaire. Countless hours spent tending that vineyard earned the respect of his neighbours and produced a wine that caught the attention of Burgundy drinkers worldwide.
From that modest start the domaine has grown to produce five wines (Vosne-Romanée, Morey-Saint-Denis, Côte-de-Nuits-Villages, Bourgogne and Bourgogne-Passetoutgrain) from 2 hectares of vineyards.
