All our vineyards are farmed organically using the following techniques

  1. Ploughing and mowing to control weeds. Never any herbicides.
  2. Low yields
  3. Extreme rigour in all aspects of hand-tending the vines.
  4. Hand de-leafing to promote grape ripeness and colour
  5. Organic certified spray program to control diseases and pests.
  6. Minimal use of heavy machinery in order to reduce soil compaction and thus respect the soil's native flora and fauna. All vineyard work is done by hand with the exception of ploughing which is done by tractor or by horse.
